Team Spirit vs Astralis: The Danes have run wild

The eSports festivities continue as The International 10 is followed by the CS:GO Major in Stockholm. The best teams in the world will meet once again to see who’s worthy of the title of the best team in the world and draw a prize pool of 2 million dollars. Astralis resoundingly lost their first two matches and put themselves on the brink of relegation. The Danes confidently dealt with the two Brazilian sides without giving them a single card. Yes, the opponents were not of the highest level, but even such victories should give the team confidence. As for maps, the Danes should take their pick of Inferno. This is one of the strongest Astralis maps and the weakest in Team Spirit. Not once in the history of head-to-head encounters have the Dragons beat the Danes on this map, so picking Inferno Astralis makes it an easy map. And given the Dust2 peak, Astralis doesn’t look too bad. This encounter could end with a 2-0 score, not favoring the Russian team.

Astralis looks like the favourite to win the meeting. The Danes are gaining confidence with each match and playing better, the Dragons are not at a moral disadvantage because of yesterday’s defeat, and the map pool is very good for Astralis. The bookmakers are offering odds of 1.77 on the Danes’ victory with a handicap (-2.5), which looks like a good option. You can also take Total Under 2.5 maps for 1.83.
