PSG.LGD: They Will Walk Over the Americans

PSG.LGD is the only team that has yet to lose a map in this major. The Chinese have defeated three opponents: Talon Esports, OG, and Fnatic. The game of the world leader so far is amazing and the battle with Team Liquid is the first serious test for xiao8 team. The match with OG is not exactly indicative, because the Swedish major champions play again with the substitutes, but the leader of the European team is in full readiness.

Soniqs: At Home Even the Walls Help, but Not This Tim

Soniqs in the former Quincy Crew team that won the first North American Regional this DPC cycle 2021/22. They were the most outraged about the cancellation of the first major, which was no surprise since they became the strongest team in North America and should have been preparing for the playoffs in the majors, but ended up with another four-team regional showdown. So the players did fail at was the regional finals, becoming only the third team in their region to receive no extra DPC points. Whether that was the result of a reluctance to play after the cancellation is possible, but in the second DPC league the guys blew the replay. With 6 wins and only 1 loss, the Quincy Crew was forced into replay, fell and missed a major.

In the new summer tour, the team was once again formed around the first and second playing position, Quinn and YawaR, joined from Alliance by Brazilian carry LESLÃO, with MSS and Fata as the supports. Quincy Crew is still a formidable force, the team was second in the summer tour, so the American squad will perform for the home audience. The main thing is to have something to show and not to fail miserably.

Major is the only international tournament where Quincy Crew will play before TI11 (if they get there). It's a shame they lost qualification to TSM (2:3) for ESL One Malaysia 2022, but it's important to get DPC points on the Majors to not worry about getting into the Int, although if EG and TSM make it to the main tournament of the year, it's hard to imagine who can fight Quincy Crew in the North American qualification.

Soniqs don't have the best situation. The Americans start the third game day at the bottom of the table and have two draws (RNG and Thunder Awaken) and two losses (Team Liquid and Talon Esports). Opponents from PSG.LGD are beyond the reach of this squad.
