On Wednesday, June 15, the second game week of the DPC North America Regional Dota 2 League's third round continues. Quincy Crew and TSM will kick off the next game day of the league's summer tourney.

Quincy Crew: A crucial showdown

Quincy Crew is the winner of the first regional league this DPC round of 2021/22. Quincy Crew players were the most outraged by the cancellation of the first major. Unsurprisingly, they became the strongest team in North America and should have been preparing for the playoffs in the majors, but they ended up getting another four-team regional showdown. The QC players failed at the regional finals, becoming only the third team in their region to receive no extra DPC points. Whether that resulted from a reluctance to play after the cancellation of the Majors is possible, but in the second DPC league, the guys failed in the replay. With 6 wins and only 1 loss, Quincy Crew was forced to play a replay, which they failed miserably, leaving them without a major, which was held in May.

In the new summer tour, the team was once again formed around the first and second playing positions, Quinn and YawaR, joined from Alliance by Brazilian player LESLÃO, with MSS and Fata defending the honor of the team in the support position. Quincy Crew continues to be a formidable force, especially against the background of EG's decline, but there will be a heated battle with TSM.

TSM: A chance to guarantee a second straight major

TSM never has any problems with opponents from their region who are below their class, which is the majority of the DPC league. But as shown by the last major in Sweden, in Europe too, the guys did not get lost, becoming the vice-champion of the tournament, losing to OG (1:3) in the final. This team has already secured a place in TI11, but this squad is hungry for wins, and if we consider that the Summer Major in August will be held in the USA - TSM won't give up the summer tour of the regional league. The team started with an easy victory over The Cut (2-0), but the organizers didn't let the guys speed up and put the strongest opponent already in the tour's second match.

The TSM team is the ex-Undying. I liked Undying very much for their identity. It's a real team that, in a year, not just got together and somehow played in their region, but guys were selected for TI10 and showed themselves quite well in some places. The main problem of the pack was the lack of organization, the money was the real problem, and I'm very glad that such a famous organization as TSM signed these guys. Usually, when CIS talent "lands on the payroll," the game suddenly disappears somewhere. Still, the current TSM won their regional finals in February, bringing them closer to participating in TI11.

If we go over the TSM team personalities, the Czech offlaner SabeRLight, who played for the now-disbanded Ninjas in Pyjamas not so long ago, stands out in the team. He is no stranger to North America, having been on loan to the Quincy Crew in 2019, so he knows the region well.

The current TSM was assembled based on the Undying team, which, in turn, was formed mainly by representatives of the disbanded CR4ZY team: Bryle, MoonMeander, and DuBu, noting that the latter still has experience as a coach. The Korean player played at The International 2015 as part of the MVP and finished 7th-8th in the tournament.

The Peruvian Timado is an interesting carry player for the TSM team, who shows a stable game. At TI10, we didn't really believe in these guys, but they managed to surprise us by taking points from any team. Virtus.pro and T1 managed to beat the Americans, but OG and Invictus Gaming could not overcome the feisty Undying. They even beat their principled opponents from EG but lost in the losers in the first round of the playoffs. After TI10, the team didn't change the roster but only got organized, and now they're TSM.
