Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix Prediction: FORMULA 1 IN THE NETHERLANDS - A WORLD IN ORANGE

The track located on the sand dunes of the Zandvoort resort, after which it bears its name, was the host of Formula 1 World Championship races in the period from 1952 to 1985 with minor breaks, and we welcomed it to the World Championship calendar, to the joy of the orange army of fans of the current world champion Max Verstappen, once again in 2021. The race for the Dutch Grand Prix was supposed to return to us a year earlier, in 2020, but due to restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, everything was postponed for a year.

The summer break flew by as quickly as if it hadn't happened, and we are already at the new stop of the Formula 1 World Championship, in Max's territory in Zandvoort for the Dutch GP. After the rainy and interesting third free practice, it was time for the qualifications, which started in mixed conditions. The track was wet and lit by the sun. The drivers drove the first two rounds on intermediates, and the last round on soft tires. In the end, Max Verstappen in Red Bull did best in all of this, with a time half a second faster than the second Lando Norris in McLaren. Third place was taken by Mercedes' George Russell. A fantastic fourth was Williams' Alexander Albon. Fifth was Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso. Ferrari did not excel again, the best placed driver was Carlos Sainz in sixth place, while Charles Leclerc was only ninth after causing a red flag and the interruption of the third qualifying round. The fourth starting row will be shared by Red Bull's Sergio Perez and McLaren's Oscar Piastri respectively. The top ten was closed out by Logan Sargeant in the Williams after he caused the first stoppage in Q3 with his spin at turn three.

Qualifying for the Dutch GP was another session in which Ferrari was not satisfied with the result. Carlos Sainz will start sixth, although he is not where he would like to be, and Charles Leclerc will start ninth after the incident in Q3, the Ferrari boss believes in a breakthrough with long stints giving them confidence in that. On the other hand, we have both Williams cars in the top 10 which is something nobody expected. Maybe another rain will make the race and dominance of Verstappen harder and give a chance to others to stand up, especially McLaren’s drivers. Mercedes and Aston Martin feel that they can do better but this is a very difficult and demanding circuit and it will be tough and hard race. I expect Perez to has great race after all the set backs and rumors about his form and place in Red Bull. He will start from 7th position and I believe that he will end on the podium at the end.
