Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas vs Corinthians Paulista: Will the lonely Star return to the elite as a triumphant?

Botafogo will face Corinthians in the first leg of the Brazilian football championship. Despite the fielding factor, bookmakers believe that the team from Sao Paulo has the best chance of winning the upcoming game. However, given their recent results, there are doubts about that.

Botafogo played well in the Carioca Championship, reaching the semi-finals but losing to eventual state champion Fluminense in a 2-match clash, with a 2:1 victory. There is a sense of overestimation for Corinthians. The team from Sao Paulo has a stronger squad, but the current form of Timao is highly questionable, given Corinthians' two consecutive defeats in two different tournaments. Botafogo put up a fight against Fluminense, who eventually won the state championship by beating Flamengo in the championship final. The first bet we'll propose is handicap (0.25) on the home team for 1.8.

Let's not forget that the Lonely Star is back in Serie A this season, and will certainly try a new season in the elite of Brazilian football. That's why we suggest betting on W1.
