São Paulo vs Grêmio Prediction: Both teams are not in their top form

São Paulo won the Copa do Brasil but continues displaying very modest performances in the Brasileirão. Cuiabá overtook the Tricolor Paulista which is now in 11th place after another disappointing result away from home. Dorival Jr.'s side lost 2-0 at Goiás in the last round and have yet to pick up a single win on the road. Grêmio also failed to deliver as it lost 2-1 at home to Athletico-PR. The Tricolor Gaúcho couldn't field some international players due to national team matches and lost for the second time at home. It was the third game in a row without a win in the Brasileirão, and the side is now in 4th place in the table, having been overtaken by Flamengo, who won on Tite's debut as coach.

Despite finishing the game against Goiás with 75% ball possession, São Paulo never really managed to create problems for the home team.
