Corinthians Paulista vs Deportivo Cali: Bet on a confident win for the Brazilians

After the defeat in Bolivia, Corinthians need a point, otherwise the standings in Group E could get out of hand for Timao. Especially as the club from Sao Paulo will face Boca Juniors in the third round. Unsurprisingly, the bookmakers favour the home side in the pairing, with a confident win for the Brazilians.

Corinthians have left a mixed impression. On the one hand, it's a semi-final elimination in the Paulista play-offs and a loss in the first round of the Libertadores Cup group stage at the hands of Always Ready. On the other hand, it's a very confident away win in the first round of Serie A over Botafogo. However, it’s a failure in Bolivia is not to be taken lightly, remembering that the country is mountainous and not everyone can quickly adapt to the conditions here.

Deportivo Cali's result against Boca Juniors was surprising, but we doubt the Colombians can play another match of the same quality as against the Genoese, especially away. Our first bet for this match is a combination option on the home team. 

Corinthians is lacking stability so far, so we don't expect a crushing defeat for Timao, but we expect a confident win by two goals.
