Corinthians vs Santos Prediction: Betting on the Hosts in the Under Match

A Brazilian Cup derby is always interesting, and we will watch the match between Corinthians and Santos. Corinthians just a round ago leading the current Brasileirao and therefore quite logically quoted as the favorite for the upcoming game. Whereas Santos is having another average season.

Recently, Timão have played exclusively in Serie A. In the last three games, Corinthians beat Juventude and Goias, drew with Atletico Paranaense on the road. Unfortunately for the visitors, Corinthians missed out on first place in the Brasileirao standings, losing to Palmeiras by three points. But Timao hold the second position more than confidently, four points ahead of Atletico Paranaense, Atletico Mineiro and Inter. Corinthians' home stats are second in the division, +4=2-0, 9-2 goal difference. Morevoer, no one in the Brazilian elite has ever conceded less than Corinthians at home.

Santos has a five-match unbeaten streak, a great result having four draws, and the only victory over Juventude, which is beaten literally by everyone. After 13 rounds, Santos is eighth. It is not related to the Cup of Brazil, and the density in the tournament is high. Still, at the moment the team is a mediocre performer of the elite division, in contrast to Corinthians. On the road, Santos has only one victory in six games with three draws and two defeats on a 6-7 goal difference. In general, Santos is a fairly under team in the away matches.

We do not expect many scores and actions i.e. more than two goals per game. In this derby TO matches are rare, we believe that the upcoming game will end with no results. As for the outcome, we're on the hosts' side who played better in the first rounds of Brasileirao than Santos.
