Crvena Zvezda vs Zenit Prediction: Possible revenge

Prediction for the Friendlies Crvena Zvezda vs Zenit match which will take place on July 4th. Who will turn out to be stronger? Check the team conditions! Several betting options are available.  

For the Belgrade team, the match with Zenit will be the first at the PARI Premier Cup tournament. Crvena Zvezda had its first friendly offseason games at the end of June, winning twice – 3:1 over Serbian Sloboda Uzice and 2:0 over Bosnian Borac Banja Luka.

Last season, Crvena Zvezda won the Serbian championship, becoming the best team in the country for the sixth time in a row and the National Cup for the third time in a row. At the end of the season, head coach Milos Milojevic left the club and moved to the Emirates. The new coach is Barak Bakhar.

The opening game of the PARI Premier Cup against Neftchi did not cause Zenit any trouble. At the end of the first half, the champion of Russia conceded a penalty, but in the second half, it quickly scored three goals at once. Note that the opponent's goal from the eleven–meter mark is its only shot. Zenit shot on target nine times. As for the St. Petersburg team, it is interesting that goalkeeper Nikita Goilo got into the starting lineup – he spent the previous two seasons at Pari Nizhny Novgorod. Du Queiroz debuted for Zenit and intends to replace Wendell, who wants to leave the club. 

The leader of Zenit's defense, Rodrigo, has not fully recovered from his injury and will likely not play with Crvena Zvezda either. Renan, who returned from the Brazilian national team, may come, but this will not help. So Sergey Semak's team is unlikely to play at a shutout. Moreover, Crvena Zvezda will attack much better than Neftchi. 

Also, you can consider options for the success of Crvena Zvezda. The Serbs lost twice to Zenit in 2022 and probably want revenge. Another additional motivation for the players of the Belgrade team is to show their best side in front of the head coach.
