Everton vs Aston Villa Prediction: Will the Birmingham side be able to break their poor showing?

Everton will face Aston Villa at home in Week 25 of the English Championship. The Birmingham club travels to Goodison Park with a streak of three straight defeats. However, the Lions have three straight wins over the Toffees. Will the Birmingham side be able to break their poor showing in the tournament against a comfortable opponent?

After a frustrating 0:2 derby defeat at the hands of Liverpool, Everton returned to their home walls to face Leeds United. In the third consecutive game, a draw was recorded. At home, the Toffees achieved a 1:0 win over the Peacocks. With the same score, Everton beat Arsenal at home in Dyche's debut game at the team's helm. The Toffees are 16th in the English league with 21 points.

The Birmingham club has huge problems in defense. In the last three rounds of the English Premier League, Aston Villa conceded 11 goals and failed to score points. The club lost to Leicester City (2:4), Manchester City (1:3), and Arsenal (2:4). The Birmingham side is sitting in 11th place in the EPL standings with 28 points.

Aston Villa is experiencing a game crisis, which began with a home defeat against Leicester. Everton has shown more reliable soccer in defense since the arrival of Sean Dyche. This is not surprising since Burnley, under Dyche, was a pretty solid team in defense. Under Dyche, Everton has two wins by a dry score in their three meetings. However, extending that streak at Goodison Park will not be easy, as Unai Emery has great players in the attacking phase. Here we expect a top result from the meeting and do not rule out a draw.
