West Ham vs Leicester Prediction: Another productive encounter?

West Ham United will face Leicester City at home in round 16 of the English Championship. The last seven head-to-head encounters have been marked by at least three goals.

West Ham United has failed to pick up points in their last two EPL games. First, the club could not create many chances against Man Utd (0:1). Next, the Hammers took on Crystal Palace at home and lost 1:2. With 14 points, the Londoners slipped down to 15th place in the EPL table. They lost at home to Blackburn Rovers this week to finish in the English League Cup.

Brendan Rodgers' side has failed to score in the last four rounds of the English league only once. As expected, the Foxes lost 0:1 at home to Manchester City. Leicester City beat Leeds United, Wolverhampton, and Everton during this stretch. Leicester's players scored a total of eight goals in those matches. With 14 points, the team sits 14th in the EPL table. In midweek, the Foxes beat Newport to advance to the fourth round of the English League Cup.

West Ham has only scored 12 goals in the current campaign, and only three teams - Everton, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham Forest - have been worse. Naturally, it is time for the Londoners to improve their attacking performance. The home side will be pretty active, considering their recent setbacks in the Premiership and the English League Cup. Leicester can take advantage of the defensive instability of Moyes' side, who have had a good run of form in the last four rounds of the EPL. It will again be a productive game in a head-to-head encounter between the clubs.
