Nice vs Auxerre Prediction: Expect a win for the home team

The program of the 26th round of the French Ligue 1 will open with the match between Nice and Auxerre. The Eagles from the Côte d'Azur are quoted in the pair as notable favorites.

After being eliminated from the French Cup by a little-known team from Ligue 3, Nice played eight matches in the national championship, winning six with two draws. Also note that in this period, the Eagles conceded only twice: from Montpellier and Marseille. Both teams are motivated. Nice, after the powerful run, hopes to fight for a place in the European competitions, and if the Eagles continue to win, everything can work out for the future home team. But do not underestimate Auxerre, either. The Burgundians won their two most recent matches and, overall, in the French championship, have not lost since the first of February, a month ago. We are on the side of the hosts in the pair. Nice is not only on the move. The Eagles are better than their future opponent in all respects. We won't be surprised if Auxerre's attack can't get past the South's defense.
