Olympique de Marseille vs Nantes Prediction: Betting on a goal exchange

Marseille started the new season with a superb win at the Velodrome. In the first leg, they thrashed Reims (4:1) to the delight of their fans. However, in the second leg, they failed to defeat Brest. The opponents could not decide the winner and ended the game with a score of 1:1. Although Brest was much stronger than Marseille and had a better chance of winning.

Nantes started the season with a resounding defeat to PSG in the French Super Cup. The Canaries lost (0:4). But they scored twice in the opening two rounds of Ligue 1. First, Nantes drew away with Angers (0:0) and then managed to avoid losing to Lille (1:1). Until the 76th minute, the team was leading the scoreline.

Here, we wouldn't be too quick to write off Nantes, although the bookmakers' experts have already done so. The Canaries have drawn twice in the last two rounds, so they will certainly put up a fight against the Olympians. However, the more prestigious Marseille has no right to play poorly in front of its fans. We think the opponents will be able to put up a good fight.
