Niger vs Tanzania Prediction: Taifa Stars are expected to secure a point at least here

Niger will face off against Tanzania at the Stade de Marrakech Stadium on Saturday. Both teams were paired together in the just concluded AFCON Qualifier, where Tanzania finished as the runner-up in the group while Niger ended up at the bottom of the log with two points from a combined eighteen.

Tanzania finished in second spot with eight points below Algeria at the top. Taifa Stars have picked up seven points from their last five games and are one of the contenders for the second spot in this group, as Morocco remain the favorite.

After thirteen games without a win, Niger secured the maximum points as they defeated Somalia in a friendly game. Niger's last run in this tournament earned them seven points as they won twice against a poor Djibouti side.

Both sides have met twice, with Tanzania winning once and sharing the spoils on the road. Their first meeting ended in a (1-1) share of the spoils in Niger. Tanzania were the better side on the road against Niger; they created four big chances and converted just one. However, Tanzania made up for their lack of sharpness in front of goal in the reverse leg to win on their ground by just a goal.
