Nigeria vs Mali Prediction: Both teams have equal chances of securing the maximum points

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will lock horns against Mali at the Stade de Marrakech Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams had an excellent time at the AFCON and we expect nothing but an exciting game between both sides.

The Super Eagles broke the jinx of six games without a win against Ghana, as they scored twice while their opponent responded once to secure the maximum point. Nigeria had a decent game and scored in both halves until they conceded a penalty with almost the last kick of the game. The victory also means they have now won twice in their previous eleven friendly games. 

After their decent run in the just concluded AFCON tournament, Nigeria will play a friendly game against a solid Mali team tomorrow. The Super Eagles lost just once in eight games, marching here with a win a few days ago.

The Eagles, who had a successful run at the AFCON tournament head here with a (0-2) victory over Mauritania. Even though they kicked off the game without some of their key players, debutants Modibo Sagan and El Bilal Toure scored a goal each to secure the maximum points. 

Nigeria, who eliminated Burkina Faso in the knockout phase, were later eliminated by Ivory Coast. The Eagles have been up and running since the appointment of Eric Chelle, with one defeat in the last seventeen games. The Eagles are a free-flowing team and have shared goals between themselves in recent games. 

Over their previous three meetings, the Super Eagles have enjoyed the lion’s share of the results with two wins, while Mali recorded a victory. Nigeria enjoyed themselves against an uninspiring Ghanaian side, firing six shots at goal and converting two. At the same time, Mali had a smooth sail against Mauritania. Mali will be without Yves Bissouma and Aliou Dieng, but are blessed in the midfield position with Kamory Doumbia and Lassana Coulibaly replacing them. For the Super Eagles, Frank Onyeka, Kelvin Bassey, and Victor Osihmen will be the notable absentees. We think both teams have an equal chance of winning this game and we believe it won’t deprive us of goals; bet on BTTS for 2.11.
