The Challenge Cup is not the most prestigious trophy, but the teams are unlikely to refuse another cup to their museum. Both teams have problems with game practice, and the Ecuadorians, despite the high season in South America, have no advantage in this area; on the contrary, the Spaniards have their pitch, their spectators, and a familiar time zone on their side.
