Almeria vs Celta Prediction: The home team will pick up another win

One of Saturday's matches on Matchday 12 of the Spanish football championship will be between Almeria and Celta, with the Galician side the slight favourites.

Victories over Rayo and Girona and defeats to Betis and Villarreal are Almeria's achievements since the international break. For an outsider, six points in four rounds is a good result, which allowed the future hosts to climb up to 15th place in the table. However, the gap to Girona, who is in the relegation zone, is only one point. Almeria's home statistics are 11th in the division, +3=0-2, 9:7 goal difference.

Regarding the Galicians, we must note a definite decline in the game. After an unpredictable win against Betis, Celta lost to Barcelona, Real Sociedad, and Valladolid and drew home to Getafe. An extremely weak recent statistic shows that they are not doing well. In the La Liga standings, however, the team is above their future opponent by just one point. As for the away statistics, Celta has only the 17th result, three points from five games, and a goal difference of 3:12.

It is not entirely clear why Celta, who have such statistics after the international break, is quoted as the favorite for the upcoming game. Almeria has won 60% of their home games; the team has been winning at home since the pause, and their defeats have come from Real Madrid and Osasuna. There is a feeling that Almería is being underestimated, thereby overestimating Celta, and we predict that the home side will win this coming Saturday again.
