Mashujaa FC vs Namungo FC Prediction: The visitors can be deadly away from home

On Saturday, Mashujaa FC will face off against Namungo FC at the CCM Lake Tanganyika Stadium. The visitors will approach this game with the goal of getting the maximum points, while the hosts can’t afford to drop points here.

The hosts have been playing exceptionally well in recent games, and after four consecutive games on the road without a defeat, Mashujaa FC will be poised to take all the points here. More recently, they held Ihefu to a (1-1) stalemate as nothing could separate them in full-time. Before then, they stunned Geita Gold on the road, coming from a goal down to score three times. Their recent statement on the road was as a result of their hard work in recent weeks. Mashujaa have been pretty solid offensively but have not kept a clean sheet in fourteen consecutive matches. The Southern Killers head here with a share of the spoils on the road against KMC. The hosts scored twice, while Namungo responded minutes later to split points against a tough KMC. 

The result means Namungo will maintain their spot, having won four of their last seventeen games. Namungo have produced some fantastic results in recent games, as a win against Azam on the road, a point against Simba, coupled with a victory over Ihefu, are not flukes.

Namungo always play their best games on the road and have struggled at home this season. 

Over their previous two meetings, both teams have settled for a share of the spoils in 90 minutes. Mashujaa FC have been phenomenal in recent weeks and will be keen to survive relegation this season. They have scored in each of their last five games but have not kept a clean sheet in fourteen games. At the same time, Namungo have been pretty solid on the road, and no team has defeated them, scoring more than a goal. They are always very compact when they play away from home; however, since the hosts can't keep a clean sheet, this game will likely produce more than two goals for 2.67.

We expect the hosts to get the first goal for 2.03.

Mashujaa are a tough side, but we think Namungo will be a formidable opponent; bet on a home win or draw and over 1.5 goals for 2.20.
