Aris vs Rakow Prediction: The Green and White have a good chance to change the game

At the same time, the debut of the third qualifying round turned out badly for the Cypriots, as they suffered a 1:2 defeat to Rakow in the opening game, so now they need to get back on track.

Rakow is another team going through the best times in its history. Although the club was founded more than a century ago, they have never become champions before, but at the end of last season, they still reached the coveted trophy. Moreover, two years before that, they became vice-champions of Poland, while in 2021 and 2022, they won the Cup and Super Cup of the country. The Red-Blue started the new season not so successfully, collecting only four points in the three starting rounds. But in the Champions League qualification, they have already managed to pass Estonian Flora - 1:0 and 3:0, Azerbaijani Qarabag - 3:2 and 1:1, and in the first game of the third round of qualification, Poles beat Aris - 2:1.

Aris and Rakuv continue to fight for the next round of Champions League qualification. As a result of the first game, the Poles took the lead - 2:1, but now they will face an away clash, which will not be easy. The Cypriots have not yet started in the national championship, and therefore a week of systematic preparation for the return battle. At the same time, the Red-Blue played a tough match in the Polish championship at the weekend, in which they also suffered a defeat. Now the Red Whites should be fresher, which gives them a good chance to turn the tide of the battle.

Despite the importance of the upcoming confrontation, we can expect a high-scoring activity. Aris has already played three matches in the current Champions League qualification, with a total of 19 shots on goal (6.33 per game on average). Rakow has had an unbeaten run of goals in the last five matches in a row, and the Poles have scored and conceded a total of 17 goals in that stretch (3.40 average per game).
