Real Sociedad vs Inter Prediction: Inter is in much better shape

Real Sociedad is one of those teams in the Spanish Primera Division that have to fight yearly for fourth place in the standings, the ticket to the Champions League. For several years in a row, the team had been on the verge of finishing in the top four, but it was only at the end of last season that they could do so. This summer has seen many changes, with the likes of Andre Silva, Kieran Tierney, Alvaro Odriozola, and Arsen Zakharyan among the new arrivals. 

Inter had a great season last year. They may not have won the Serie A title, as it was impossible to beat the perfect Napoli. They did solve the problem of finishing in the top four to reserve their place in next year's UEFA competition. In last year's Champions League, however, Inter achieved the final, which seemed unlikely at the start of the season, only to lose 1:0 to Manchester City in the decisive match. The Italian club experienced significant changes this summer, and it has served them well so far, as they have made a perfect start to the new season, beating Monza, Cagliari, Fiorentina, and Milan by a combined score of 13:1 in the first four rounds to go top of the standings.

Real Sociedad had a great season, but they are struggling for results to start the season, having won just once in their opening five games. On the other hand, Inter is in much better shape, having won three in a row at the end of pre-season, and have now won all four of their previous Serie A matches, including a 5:1 against Milan. 

As well as beating everyone, Inter has also been scoring a lot lately. In their last seven matches, the Nerazzurri have scored 23 goals, an average of 3.29 per game - an impressive result. At the same time, Real Sociedad's defense could be better, having kept only one clean sheet in the first five rounds and conceding three goals to Granada and two to Real Madrid.
