Tottenham vs Marseille Prediction: the Southerners to Fight Back

Last season, Tottenham made the final jump on the UCL. At the end of it, the team took advantage of the misfiring Arsenal and managed to finish in the fourth position receiving a direct ticket to the UCL group stage. The Spurs approach the upcoming game after a six-match unbeaten streak, four of which have been victories and two draws, with a total score of 12:5. 

Marseille was just as lucky as Tottenham. In the last Ligue 1, the Southerners crushed Strasbourg 4:0, while Monaco, also in contention for the Champions League, drew 2:2 with Lens. Thanks to this, the team from Marseille managed to take place in the top 2 and get a coveted pass to the Champions League group stage. The Provençal side has every chance of making the playoffs. They got not the most difficult group - Tottenham, Eintracht, and Sporting so they can count on second place. 

Tottenham come into this game as favorites, which we agree in part, but we do not recommend writing off Marseille. The Southerners are in excellent form, having won four times in the national championship (7:1 on aggregate). The Spurs outclass their opponent and are likely to get three points, but they certainly can't keep their goal intact. So we suggest to bet on "both to score". Prediction: both to score.
