San Jose Earthquakes vs Vancouver Whitecaps Prediction: Race for First win

San Jose Earthquakes and Vancouver Whitecaps both have everything to play for in the second round of the MLS campaign. Both teams lost their opening match and now are paired to face each other in this match. San Jose Earthquakes had an encouraging outing during pre-season until their defeat on the final day that ended their 3 match win streak. They lost 2-0 against New York Red Bulls and then on the opening day of the season, they lost 2-1 to Atlanta United.

Jeremy Ebobisse opened scoring in the 12th minute to give the Earthquakes a first half win, unfortunately, they failed to protect the lead, as they fell to a late double by Thiago Almada in the 93rd and 99th minute.
