Yokohama M vs Kashiwa Prediction: the Visitors Will Fight Back

Not long ago Yokohama suffered a serious setback. They encountered a minimal away defeat from a mediocre team, Fukuoka (0:1). In the next three rounds, however, the team showed a high level of play. First, Kevin Muscat's charges beat Kyoto 2:0 at home, then Iwata 2:0 away, and finally Gamba Osaka 2:1. So there's nothing wrong with the hosts. As for Yokohama's position in the standings, they're in first place with 34 points. 

Kashiwa has a shot at the Champions League this season. The team has been performing well lately and is only three points short of the Champions League qualification zone. On the eve of this game, the club takes the fourth position in the standings with 30 points. Kashiwa comes to the upcoming game after a resounding victory over Sapporo (6:1), confident win over Shimizu and Kobe (3:1 each). 

Analysts have neglected the visitors, which we do not recommend to do. Kashiwa looks quite lively lately and has a lot of chances to earn points in the upcoming game. Yokohama cannot lose points, as the lower Kashima and Kawasaki breathe right down their neck, trailing by only one point. With that in mind, we think the home team will win, but it won't be an easy ride. We advise to play safe and bet on "both to score".
