This is why they dropped to 15th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

New Jersey and Philadelphia approach the confrontation in a bad mood. The Devils have three losses in a row, and the Flyers cannot win in four games already. At the same time, Lindy Ruff's wards have already proved that they are capable of demonstrating excellent results. And the second place in the Eastern Conference standings only confirms it. The Flyers have another story: they are second-to-last failing nine previous meetings.

This season New Jersey is not only in the group of leaders of the Eastern Conference, but also is one of the most productive teams. In 29 meetings the Devils have already shot 104 goals (3.59 on average per game) – an excellent number. Recently, things have gotten a little worse for the Red and Blacks, but a match against one of the outsiders is a great opportunity to improve statistics and to return self–confidence.
