Northumberland Plate Festival Race Day Prediction: Jockey’s in Control of their Spearheads

The Northumberland Plate race day has finally arrived and we have a diversified pool of horses making their way into the contest. Stats from different bookmakers suggest that Sense of Duty, Spycatcher, Ebro River, Edraak, and Glen Shiel will be the favorites for winning. The highlight of the card is the Group 3 Chipchase Stakes, which is expected to have all 14 of its prospective competitors. Trueshan, who is rated 23 lb lighter than his huge challenger, should have an advantage over them and other competitors who are accustomed to this type of Class 2 competition. The odds suggest that the race and its outcomes could vary depending upon turf and other conditions.
