Blues vs. Brumbies Predictions: Would Brumbies be able to turn tables in Auckland?

Blues will be facing Brumbies in the next competition of Super Rugby 2022 at 11th June 2022 at Eden Park (Auckland).

The Blues have had a fantastic season, losing only once on their route to the top of the standings. That setback occurred on the first weekend, but they have subsequently won 14 consecutive games.

Topping the table has given them home field advantage until the final, unless they are eliminated. The Blues defeated the Waratahs 20-17 in their last round robin encounter.

Last week, the Blues got off to a poor start against the Highlanders, but a solid second half effort helped them win the quarter-final 35-6.

Earlier this season, the Brumbies were on fire, proving that they were the only Australian team capable of frequently challenging their New Zealand rivals. Due to a dismal finish to the regular season, the Brumbies fell from second to third place on the standings.

Two consecutive losses to the Crusaders and Blues did not assist their cause, but Canberra pushed those teams all the way. In the quarter-finals last week, the Brumbies overcame the Hurricanes 35-25 at home.

The Brumbies will be hoping for set piece advantage this weekend in Auckland. If they can do that, they will always have a chance; otherwise, it will be a long day at the office.

The Blues are undeniably favorites, but the Brumbies can cause them plenty of difficulties. I think the hosts will win, but not by more than 14 points.
