Wigan vs Warrington Prediction: This match could go either side

This Europe Challenge Cup quarterfinal match between Wigan and Warrington will take place at DW Stadium in Wigan. There is no denying that the home team has been having problems as of late, while the away team, Warrignton, recently won over Huddersfield. 

After suffering defeats at the hands of St. Helens and Catalans Dragons in their last two meetings, Wigan will be hoping for a stronger showing here. However, these defeats came at the hands of strong competition, bringing their overall winless streak to four games in six matches. In spite of this, they did exceptionally well to pick up victories over Leeds and Hull KR over this stretch of time in matches that were settled by scores of 14-18 and 22-26, respectively.

Thanks to a narrow victory over Hudddersfield (30-26), Warrington were finally able to halt their losing streak after suffering consecutive setbacks at the hands of Leigh and Hull FC in matches that concluded with scores of 30-12 and 30-18, respectively. Warrington entered this match having won four of their previous six matches, with victories over Wakefield, Hull KR, and Catalans Dragon in addition to this one. During this time, thirty or more points have been scored in each of those contests. In addition to that, the away club has scored in each of their previous five matches leading up to this one at least 12 points.

After looking at their previous contests against one another, it is clear that both of these teams have what it takes to come out on top today. On the other hand, the team playing at home has a significant advantage over their opponents, as they have won the majority of their recent matches against them. While that is going on, the away team appears to be having a better time, and I anticipate that they will bring that form into this competition with them. Given the results of the teams' prior matches against one another, it is possible to speculate that this game will feature a large number of offensive plays. As a result, betting on over can be a viable option.
