Martin O’Donnel – The MOD

Martin O'Donnell is a professional snooker player from England. He earned a two-year spot on the professional snooker circuit after graduating from Q School in 2012. He works out at Aylesbury's Shootpool & Snooker.

O'Donnel qualified for the Riga Masters, where he defeated Sam Craigie 4–3 before falling 4–3 to Jimmy Robertson. He had to wait until the year's last event to make the last 32 again when he qualified for the China Open by edging Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 5–4 and thrashing Jimmy Robertson 5–0. O'Donnell would be beaten 5–1 by Mark Selby and is now competing in Q School despite being rated 74th in the world, outside the top 64 who retain their berths.

He lost 4–1 to Lukas Kleckers in the last round of the first tournament and 4–3 to Ashley Carty in the third round of the second, but he earned a new two-year tour card by finishing third in the Q School Order of Merit.
