Germany vs. Belgium Predictions: Germany to Win Outright!

Germany vs Belgium will take place on Friday 16th September, 2022 at Am Rothenbaum (Hamburg) at 15:00 (Moscow time).

Germany defeated France 2-1 on Tuesday thanks to a home crowd and a clay surface that suited their second choice Jan-Lennard Struff well. Oscar Otte had little time to adjust as the new first option for his country after Alexander Zverev had to withdraw at the last minute, but the 29-year-old has reached the semi-finals of all three tournaments he has played on home soil, indicating he could come good after losing his opener against Adrian Mannarino. Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz are one of the tournament's top and most experienced doubles teams, and they performed brilliantly to defeat Nicolas Mahut and Arthur Rinderknech in the decider.

Belgium's first match against Australia was promising at first, with Zizou Bergs fighting back to draw his match 1-1 with Jason Kubler, but after losing their opener, the wind seemed to leave their sails. David Goffin, a two-time runner-up in 2015 and 2017, was way off the pace against Alex de Minaur before their doubles combination of Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen were exposed against stronger opponents.
