Jiri Lehecka vs Felix Auger-Aliassime Prediction: Jiri to Get on Felix's Nerves

Jiri, 21, was ranked 71st before the Australian Open but moved to 50th. On clay, he won one tournament in 2022, the Challenger in Liberec, Czech Republic. He played in two tournaments before the AO 2023, beating Alexander Zverev and fighting Norrie at the Auckland tournament. In Melbourne, Jiri knocked out Coric, Eubanks, and Norrie, taking revenge on the Briton for his recent defeat in Auckland. Lehecka was already the discovery of the AO because he beat the world No. 12 in the last 32. He was losing to Cameron 1:2 in sets but reversed the course of the match. Lehechka made eight aces and two doubles; the winners/unforced errors statistics were 51/55.

In late December 2022, Felix played three matches at an exhibition tournament in the UAE, beating Kyrgios, Thiem, and Zverev. Then he sensationally failed in Adelaide, losing in the two to Popyrin. In Melbourne, Auger-Aliassime gained three victories but did not win 3-0 once. In the first round, he defeated Pospisil 3-1, Molchan in five sets, and Cerundolo in four. The statistics show that Felix's current tonus is far from peak.

Given the not the best form of Auger-Aliassime, we wonder if he, after losing sets to Cerundolo, Molchan and Pospisil, can beat Lehechka in three sets. Jiri got off to a very good start in 2023, beating Zverev and Norrie, so the Czech is ready to play with the Canadian.
