AT&T

Targeting at multinational companies, the new Tokyo IDC forms part of AT&T's global strategy to provide IT and networking solutions through its data centers worldwide.

Located in Shinagawa in central Tokyo, the new facility delivers AT&T's IT infrastructure services in a facility that features a seismic isolator for earthquake protection, fire detection and suppression, physical security and back-up power. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has awarded the new IDC its AAA safety level -- the highest ranking in Japan.

As with other AT&T IDCs, the new Tokyo facility enables extended services to client premises or other data centers; personalized access to detailed reports about hosted infrastructure and applications; as well as network-based security services including denial of service prevention, hosted firewall, intrusion detection and anti-virus.
