Orange Cameroon taps Astelia

Orange Cameroon has tapped Astellia to provide it with a solution that enables monitoring of the quality of service (QoS) of its GSM and GPRS networks. Based on the Ocean probes and Cigale application suite, Orange monitors and optimizes its GSM and GPRS QoS for both the BSS and the NSS part of the network.

Orange also focuses on roaming activity to increase retention of and revenue from roamers. The telco uses the Astellia roaming solution to analyze daily KPIs and statistics on the network performance for roaming activity.

The telco has also implemented Astellia's service level management application.
