Stollman's NFCMod+S embedded module supports reader/writer and peer-to-peer modes and compatible with conventional tags and contactless smart cards compliant with NFC, MIFARE, or FeliCa standards.
The NFCMod+S offers interfaces UART, SPI, I2C, and USB 2.0 to the host system and supports S²C to connect a secure element.
The protocol stack on the module is controlled via a straightforward command interface.
It can integrate with a variety of products such as card readers, access control units, or payment systems.
Stollman showcased the new module in last week's CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.
