Motorsport.com has expanded into Asia with the launch of the Chinese-based digital platform, Motorsport.com-China.

The move leverages 2015 FIA Formula E world champion NEXTEV Team China Racing's joint venture investment in Motorsport.com to provide online motorsports content, video and interactive multimedia in Asia.

Motorsport.com offers the global delivery of online motorsport news, digital images and video in 15 editions and 11 native languages.

"With the number of internet users in China set to surpass the 700 million mark over the next year, gaining entrance into market with our partner NEXTEV TCR will allow the growing number of race fans in Asia the opportunity to enjoy our industry-leading motorsports content," said Charles Bradley, editor in chief of Motorsport.com.

"Although motorsport in China is relatively young in terms of its history, Shanghai has hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix for a dozen years already,” said Bradley. “By building brand and content awareness in China, Motosport.com will further leverage its editorial assets with sister companies Motor1.com and Motorsport.tv to provide the most comprehensive coverage in the world."

Motorsport.com-China promises to provide Asian fans of auto racing up-to-the-minute news, in-depth analysis and unique interactive and multimedia content, including images, graphics, videos and live streams – all in native tongue.
