SRS Labs has entered into a licensing agreement with Qualcomm for the distribution of its audio technologies within the latter’s Snapdragon chipsets.
Qualcomm has licensed SRS Labs' audio application programming interfaces, including OpenSL ES and OpenAL audio API solutions for mobile devices.
Qualcomm will also make available several of SRS' audio IPs to its Snapdragon dual-core CPU chipsets, including SRS TruMedia, WOW HD, CS Headphone and SRS TruGaming.
SRS' mobile technologies have shipped in several million Android and Windows Phone 7 devices.
