Juniper Networks names Hansjoerg Wagner SVP of APAC
Juniper Networks has appointed Hansjoerg Wagner as senior vice president for Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore. He succeeds Douglas Murray, who will return to the US as a member of Juniper’s Customer Leadership Team.

In his new role, Wagner will in charge of Juniper’s business activities across the APAC region, including customer engagement, sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning and revenue growth.

Wagner has more than 20 years’ experience in field execution, in both service provider and enterprise industries. He joins Juniper from Polycom where he held several senior leadership roles, including president, Apac, and SVP of global field operations.

Prior to joining Polycom in May 2006, Hansjoerg served as managing director of Packeteer Asia Pacific (now BlueCoat).

Both Wagner and Murray will report to Vince Molinaro, executive vice president of worldwide sales.

Ex-NetApp executive Manish Goel joins Guavus as CEO

Guavus has appointed Manish Goel as its new CEO. Goel succeeds Guavus founder and former CEO Anukool Lakhina, who will continue to guide product strategy and accelerate innovation for the big data analytics solutions supplier.

Goel joins Guavus from NetApp, where he worked for 11 years, most recently as executive vice president of product operations leading all product technology strategy and delivery.

Prior to NetApp, Goel also held senior positions at Copper Mountain Networks, Cadence and McKinsey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT, Chennai and MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
