Argentina beat India 2-1 leading them a step closer to the Olympic gold in women’s hockey. Meanwhile Netherlands blew away Great Britain 5-1 and will meet Argentina for the gold medal match.
Gurjit scored the first goal for India and put them up one-nil but Barrionueva scored both the goals for Argentina in the second half to pull through in the end. Meanwhile, Felice Albers led the Netherlands effort against Great Britain and nailed two out of the five goals. After their losses, India and Great Britain will now battle it out for a bronze.
