The fight between WBC and WBO super bantamweight champion Stephen Fulton and former undisputed bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue is scheduled for July 25 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Recall that the boxers were scheduled to meet on May 7, but Inoue was injured and the fight had to be postponed.
Inoue had his last fight against Britain's Paul Butler in December, 2022. In that fight Naoya won by knockout in the 11th round. He has 24 wins (21 by KO) and no losses.
Fulton came to the ring last June against his compatriot Daniel Roman. In that match, Stephen won by unanimous decision. He has 21 wins (eight by knockout) without a single loss.
