Regular WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis reported a conflict with his mentor and Hall of Fame member Floyd Mayweather on social media.
According to Davis, Mayweather has banned him from his boxing gym in Las Vegas.

Davis is scheduled to fight against Ryan Garcia on April 22. Gervonta last stepped into the ring against Hector Garcia in January of this year. That fight, which was stopped in the ninth round, ended in Gerwonta's favor by a technical knockout.
Davis fought in May 2022 against Rolando Romero. In that fight, Gervonta won by knockout in the sixth round. He has 28 wins (26 KOs) and no losses in the professional ring.
