PSV has announced the transfer of forward Cody Gakpo to Liverpool. The transfer, which will be a record for the Dutch club, will take place during the opening of the winter pre-signing period in England.
Earlier, The Athletic reported that the English will pay €42 million for the transfer of the World Cup-2022 star. It should be noted that at the Qatar World Cup, Gakpo scored goals in each of the three group stage matches. The 23-year-old Dutch striker failed to score in the two play-off matches.
Gakpo has featured in 20 games for PSV this season, scoring 13 goals and giving 16 assists.
