Former Barcelona and France defender Eric Abidal has compared the FIFA World Cups in Qatar and Russia.
The World Cup is a huge competition, so the organization is very important. And from what I saw and heard, in both countries the organization was at the highest level. Both in Russia and Qatar, everything was safe for the players and the fans.

The World Cup in Russia took place in the summer of 2018. The French team won the tournament, defeating Croatia 4-2 in the final.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held in November-December 2022. Argentina won the gold medal by defeating France in the decisive match (3-3, penalty shootout - 4-2).
Earlier, former Slovak national team defender Ján Ďurica said in an interview with Sport-Express that he preferred the 2018 World Cup to the tournament in 2022.
