Spain's head coach Luis Enrique has commented on the results of the defeat against Japan (1-2) in the third round of the group stage match of the World Cup 2022.
Nothing happens, and suddenly for five minutes we completely lose control of the situation, we even start to panic. If Japan needed to score two more goals, they could have done it for sure. Try to explain that you dominated Japan for 80 minutes and lost 1-2. It's the World Cup, and when a team like Japan has nothing to lose, things like this happen. We were simply run over.

At the end of the group stage, the Spaniards are in second place and will play against Morocco in the playoffs of the 2022 World Cup. The Japanese finished first in Group E and will face Croatia in the first stage of the elimination matches.
