Croatian captain Luka Modrić gave his comments after defeating the Brazilian national team (1-1, 4-2) in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar.
We almost lost when they scored. Everyone buried us, but once again we showed that we never give up. Of course, before the World Cup no one would bet on us, no one predicted that we could get this far. The important thing is that we had faith, confidence, and we have a real team again with very good young people. This win will surely give us more confidence for what lies ahead.
