Former Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken out about the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese striker has moved back to Old Trafford in 2021 from Juventus. The forward played for the Red Devils until the fall of 2022.

Speaking to The Athletic, Solskjaer said:

It was a decision that was very difficult to turn down and I felt we had to take it, but it turned out wrong. It felt so right when he signed.

Two strikers in the current MU squad are suspended from playing with the main squad. Anthony is accused of domestic violence, while Jadon Sancho is not training with the team due to discipline problems.

Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr. The Portuguese is known for his performances for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
