Kenya created history in the Olympics as they won both first and second position in the 800m race. Emmanuel Korir and Ferguson Rotich finished their races in 1:45.06 minutes and 1:45.23 to secure the top-two positions.
This is the fourth time in a row that a Kenyan athlete has won a gold medal in the 800m Olympic race. Meanwhile Patryk Dobek won the bronze medal as Poland added another medal.
