Undefeated Kazakhstani fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov said that his fight at the UFC tournament in Las Vegas (USA) on January 14 against Geoff Neal has been canceled.
Due to an injury my opponent was taken off the fight. At the moment I'm waiting for a replacement. It all depends on the level of the fighter, his preparation level. Negotiations with the UFC are underway.

Neal, 32, is currently on a two-fight winning streak. He had his last fight in August 2022 at UFC on ESPN 40, knocking out Vicente Luque in the third round. Last December at UFC 269 he defeated Santiago Ponzinibbio by split decision. Neal has 15 wins and four losses under his belt.
Rahmonov had his last fight this past June as part of the UFC on ESPN 38 tournament. That time he defeated the representative of the USA Neil Magny by a choking hold in the second round. Shavkat has 16 wins and no defeats under his belt.
