Russian track and field athlete Natalya Antyukh has been disqualified for violating anti-doping rules and will lose her 2012 Olympic gold in the 400-meter hurdles, according to an AIU statement.

Natalya Antyukh was stripped of her 2012 Olympic silver medal in the 4x400 relay by the IOC in 2017 because the Russian team was disqualified after doping was found in the samples of runner Antonina Krivoshapka. In April 2021, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Antyukh for four years for anti-doping rule violations. The period of the athlete's suspension is counted from April 7, 2021. The results of the athlete since June 30, 2013 are revoked.
