San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction: Dodgers to win in a low-scoring game

The first game of the series between the Giants and Dodgers at Oracle Park ended in a convincing win for San Francisco. Will the Giants be able to consolidate their success by beating the Dodgers in the second meeting as well? We will choose several options for betting at once. 

Wins over the Dodgers are a test for the Giants. For them, numerous San Francisco fans can forgive their team anything. Dave Roberts' team had their previous series in Chicago, where they managed to cope with the local White Sox (0-4, 4-1, 11-9). Most likely, the flight from Illinois to California hurt the Dodgers' form in the first game of the series with the Giants. The team simply had no time to recover after crossing several time zones and looked unprepared physically.

For the second straight loss, Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler allowed three runs in the first four innings. Buehler's replacement Justin Bruihl also failed, striking out another 3 in the fifth inning. In the bottom of the 5th, which ended 2-6, the game was basically over for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers will pitch for the Giants in the second game of their series against the Giants with Clayton Kershaw recovering from injury – 4-0 and a 1.80 ERA in 5 starts this season.

The score in the season series is 2-1 in favor of the Dodgers.

In the first game of the series, the rivals scored nine runs in two games. This is a lot for a usually viscous and stubborn opposition between the Dodgers and Giants. Most likely, the score in the second game will be lower, also taking into account the choice of starting pitchers – the legendary king of curveballs Clayton Kershaw and Sammy Long, who has not missed much in the current championship. In addition, we should probably lean on the Dodgers in the upcoming game, who lost in the first meeting and will do everything they can in the second to take revenge.
