Cleveland Cavaliers vs Sacramento Kings Prediction: Can Cavs defense take another game?

This has been an incredible period where we witness rise and fall of squads as some teams falter and others pick it up. In this Regular Season game, the Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Sacramento Kings.

The Cavs come into this game after defeating the Lakers 116:102 as Donovan Mitchell scooped up 43 points. They have not built a big winning streak for a while but a record of 16 wins and nine losses is still decent. They have won four out of the last seven games, currently on a seven-game winning streak.

The schedule ahead isn’t that tricky and with most games at home, the chances of winning are high. Donovan Mitchell is averaging over 30 points, Garland is averaging 20+ points and 10+ assists and Evan Mobley has led the rebounding and defensive front. The prospects for the Cavs look promising and they can turn up something special.

The Kings come into this game after losing 113:126 to the Bucks despite a 23 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists performance. The Kings have built a solid offensive squad and they have been rolling in all areas. The Kings have been scoring 120+ points on a consistent basis and they have had different scorers leading the way for a long time.

Sabonis has picked up his game, Fox remains an elite scoring guard, and Monk has been superb off the bench. Harrison Barnes and Keegan Murray have been dependable wings. The Kings have to play five more away from home which means their 13 wins and 10 losses record can take a hit.

The Cavaliers have been amazing at home and have dusted off opponents of all qualities. The Kings have been getting it done on the offensive end and the defensive end has been hit in a big way. De’Aaron Fox is questionable and if he doesn’t play, it will only multiply the Kings’ problems. The Cavs have a strong team and getting Jarrett Allen back has further bolstered the team’s composition. I believe the Cavs will keep riding the hot hand of Mitchell and scrap one here. I predict a scoreline of 124:116 in favor of them.
