The NBA Regular Season has been in full flow and it has been a great start to the season. The reigning champions Warriors have struggled on the defensive end and they have started slow for sure. It will be interesting to see if the tables turn in the upcoming window. However, there has been one team that has been unstoppable squad in Milwaukee Bucks, that will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks come into this game after defeating the Pistons 116:91 as Giannis Antetokounmpo racked up 32 points. The Bucks have won seven straight games and in each game, Giannis has led the scoring effort while leading the rebounding effort in six of the seven games. There is no doubt that they are the number one defensive team, allowing the least amount of points and limiting the opposition to below 43. They are number one in rebounding with over 50 boards a game.

And that is barely a surprise, Giannis is an elite rebounder, Portis has been clasping a ton of rebounds. Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday also get on the boards at a quick rate while the defense is set with Holiday, Grayson Allen, Jevon Carter, Giannis, and Lopez. They are blessed with both great individual and help defenders. They have done all this winning without Khris Middleton, who has been their second option on the offensive end. Let us see how the team dynamics are when he returns.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves have started in a mixed way, still not playing their best basketball. The Timberwolves come into this game after losing to the Phoenix Suns 107:116 despite a 24 points performance by Karl Anthony-Towns. The Wolves have lost two in a row and in both instances, their offense has looked a bit rusty. It is a surprise because they are a loaded-scoring lineup. One of the reasons why they have underperformed lately has been the lack of production from D'Angelo Russell who is undergoing shooting struggles.

The Wolves still have a lot of promise as Anthony Edwards has become a well-rounded scorer and Karl Anthony-Towns has been in a great rhythm too. Rudy Gobert’s production has been inconsistent. Their defense is still not that improved from last season and a lot is needed there. The team is missing the services of Malik Beasley who can provide long-range shooting as Jaylen Nowell has been unable to keep it up in terms of long-range shooting.

Expert Betting Tips

Both teams have key players on the injury list which makes the betting scenario complicated. The Bucks have looked in great touch but their prime driver Giannis is the main key and he is questionable here. Anthony Edwards is questionable for the Wolves and he is a key part of the offense that hasn’t been giving great returns recently. Karl Anthony-Towns can pick up the slack to a certain extent though.

Defensively, the Bucks are better but again, Giannis is the defensive leader of the team and if he doesn’t play then the team’s defense would be hurt. If Giannis doesn’t play then the Wolves will fancy their chances more, playing at home. However, I see a close game and I believe the Wolves’ chances will take an even bigger hit without Edwards. I believe the scoring range will be 220-230 here.
